LaunchBar är ett ovärderligt verktyg för att snabbt hitta och starta program i Mac OS X. Genom att helt enkelt skriva några spridda bokstäver i filnamnet på programmet / filen man letar efter, hittar LaunchBar filen. Tryck enter för att öppna! Programmet lär sig av ens vanor, och söker hårddiskens filer mycket snabbt.

LaunchBar 3.2.7 är en betaversion (ofärdig) men fungerar bättre än tidigare versioner när det gäller å, ä och ö. Använd 3.2.6 om du är rädd för betaversioner, eller kontrollera om det har kommit en slutgiltig 3.2.7 på företagets website.

Hjälpfunktionen i programmet pekar till en mycket komplett dokumentation.

Search items by abbreviation

  1   Press Command-Space to activate LaunchBar
  2   Type an abbreviation, a few letters contained in the name of the item, e.g.:
  TEX for TextEdit, SYP for System Preferences, AB for Address Book, F for Finder
  AHN to select the Apple Hot News webpage or GOO for google.com
  SJ to select the email address of Steve Jobs
  DTP to open the Date & Time Preference Pane in System Preferences
  3   Choose the desired item from the popup list and open it with Return
